Specialist Lieke van Wijk

Mijn naam is Lieke van Wijk en ik ben een gepassioneerde fysiotherapeut die zelf uit de topsport komt (hockey) en een enorme affiniteit heeft met knie blessures. Ik heb voorheen in een bekend SMC gewerkt waar ik te maken kreeg met alle soorten knieblessures, maar focus op VKB, meniscus en pees problematiek. Ik heb me de afgelopen 8 jaar gefocust op de onderste extremiteit en bekijk elke blessure vanuit de gehele keten. Ik hanteer denkwijze zoals Frans Bosch en kijk graag naar het totale plaatje van body en mind. Training en testing is iets wat op onze praktijk bij uitstek kan worden gecombineerd om zo een objectieve en goede revalidatie uit te kunnen voeren die mee gaat met de hedendaagse protocollen en literatuur.

My name is Lieke van Wijk and I am a passionate physiotherapist who comes from top sports (hockey) and has a huge affinity with knee injuries. I previously worked in a well-known SMC where I dealt with all types of knee injuries, but focused on ACL, meniscus and tendon problems. I have focused on the lower extremity for the past 8 years and look at every injury from the entire chain. I use a way of thinking like Frans Bosch and like to look at the total picture of body and mind. Training and testing is something that can ideally be combined at our practice in order to carry out objective and good rehabilitation that is in line with contemporary protocols and literature.
